ARCs are out!

Advanced reader copies have been posted to Netgalley and I have also released copies on the Readers’ Favorite site.

As a self-published author, ARCs are so important for many reasons. I have listed some below.

It can help get the word out about my book via social media and reviews. Understandably, some people may not like the book and that’s okay. That doesn’t make my book bad. It makes it not for everyone. I relate it to movies. I don’t like every movie I’ve seen. Everyone is different and has different tastes.

Using NetGalley is a great way to find readers who are librarians and who work in schools/bookstores. It again brings more exposure to new books. Below is my featured ad on Netgalley which ran for a week.

Build interest around the book. ARCs are a way to promote the book and build interest around giveaways for new fans and followers.

Last, there is an opportunity for large plot issues to be fixed before it is out to the public. I hired three different editors to help with ensuring the errors were minimal and the book was professionally written, just like a traditionally published book.

Thank you to all the readers who have read the advanced copy of Hunted and left a review. Good, bad, or indifferent, I appreciate every review and your honesty behind them.

Follow me on social media if you enjoyed the book and would love to take part in these giveaways.
