Well, my birthday month is almost over. It was a productive month and one that I will remember forever.
Why is the last week of February so important to me? It’s March goal setting week, that’s why. As I sit here listening to the Game of Thrones soundtrack and begin planning my March goals, I am wondering if I can really make this dream a reality. There are a couple of days a month where I will sit back and ask myself why I am looking to flip my very stable life upside down. Then I think about how much I want to write, how much joy it brings me, and I get excited again. Like a kid in a candy shop, excitement. That is when the doubt subsides.
Okay, back to my goal list for March.
- Set up a newsletter. I think it will be important to keep my readers up to date with new books and projects.
- Release a weekly blog. This is my every month’s goal and I think it is important to keep it as a goal.
- ISBNs from Bowker. 10 or 100, that is the question.
- Announce on social media there is a book release coming up this year. I have the date, but I’m not ready to share.
- Developmental Editing. Reach out to the developmental editor I have worked with in the past and schedule a date for her to edit book two.
- Finalize my budget for book one and two.
- Do my taxes. I hate waiting until the last minute.
Will I make my March goals? I’ll let you know at the end of March.
